HISTORY OF DEPARTMENT

The sub-faculty of Gender Analysis and Applied Psychology was created by decision of Big Council of BSU at 2002. The basic prerequisite for creation of this sub-faculty was the joint project of Development Program of UNO and Azerbaijani government under name "Gender Development in Azerbaijan", organized in Azerbaijan in 1997-2000. With support of this project at November 2000 in Baku State University was created "Centre of gender studies" and later at the faculty of the Social Sciences and Psychology was organized the sub-faculty "Gender analysis and applied psychology".
