A SHORT CURICCULUM VITAE

Mammadova Rena Oktaedr was born on September 27, 1973 in Baku in the family of intellectuals. After graduating from high school N 189 in 1990, she was admitted to the Sociology Department (Department of Sociology) at the Faculty of History of Baku State University. In 1995 she graduated from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of Baku State University with a degree in Sociology. She started her career in 1995 at Baku State University. From 1997 to 2000 she was a dissertator of BSU. In 2000 she defended her thesis for the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences on the theme "The main tendencies of changing the social structure of the Republic of Azerbaijan (the late 1980s-90s)". By the decision of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan on November 23, 2000 (protocol N 41), she was awarded the degree of candidate of philosophical sciences.

In 2003 by the decision of the “Vector” International Science Center Commission of Rewarding won the “The Young Scientists of Azerbaijan” International Project.

Since 2004, she has been actively involved in the opening of a new specialty - Social work in various fields of life at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology of BSU.

R.O.Mammadova was awarded the title of Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology by the Higher Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated May 18, 2010 (protocol N 21-k)

She is working on his doctoral dissertation on the theme: "Factors of formation of a new system of public relations in Azerbaijan".
