PERSONAL DATA

I was born in 1962 in Baku in the family if intelligentsia.
After the finishing high school in 1979 I worked as a worker for one year and then during 1980-1985 studied at Russian Federation’s Kazan State Pedagogical Institute’s History-Philology School’s History-Social Sciences-English branch. In 1985-1986 and 1987-1989 worked as a secretary of comsomol committee in vocational and technical schools in Kazan.
In 1986-1987 served in the army as an officer in the Russian Federation
After returning to Azerbaijan worked as a sociologist-engineer at the Sociological Research Center in Baku and worked as an instructor at Azerbaijan Oil Academy and later as a professor at the private Khazar University.
Since 1998 up today I occupy the position of associate professor at the department of Sociology at Baku State University.
I am married and have two children.
