BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION
Dr. Namazova was born on April 25, 1952 in Ganja city. In 1969 she graduated from secondary school №6 in the city of Nalchik of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. In 1974 she graduated cum laude from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Kabardino-Balkarian State University. In 1978 she graduated from the faculty of poetry and literary criticism of the Literary Institute named after Maxim Gorky in Moscow, and in 1987 she graduated from the philological faculty of Baku State University. In 1997 she defended her Ph.D. thesis - "Ethics in the poetry of the peoples of the North Caucasus." Since 1999 she is an Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy in the Baku State University.
Dr. Namazova is the author of 5 brochures, 5 programs, 1 methodical manual and more than 100 scientific and op-ed articles.
EDUCATION
From 1969 to 1974 Dr. Namazova studied at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University on the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, majoring in Industrial and Civil Engineering.
From 1974 to 1978 she had her second education at the Literary Institute named after Maxim Gorky (Moscow), specialty "poetry and literary criticism."
From 1979 to 1985 she was a correspondent for the newspaper “Izvestia” in the North Caucasus and a correspondent for the USSR State Television and Radio Committee.
In 1987 she graduated from the philological faculty of the Azerbaijan State University named after Kirov (now Baku State University).
In 1997 she defended her Ph.D. thesis "Ethics in the poetry of the peoples of the North Caucasus."
Since 1999 she has been an associate professor of the Philosophy Department of the Baku State University.
PROFESSIONAL & ACADEMICAL EXPERIENCE
From 1985 to 1987 Dr. Namazova was a correspondent for the Baku newspaper.
Since 1987 she was the editor, commentator and columnist of the socio-political editorial staff of the State Committee of Radio and Television.
In 1991-2002 she worked as a senior lecturer at the Baku Institute of Social Management and Political Science.
From 1999 till now Dr. Namazova is an Associate Professor of the Department of Philosophy of the Baku State University. She delivers lectures on the “Philosophy” for Russian-speaking students.

“Philosophy”, “Integral Human Nature”, “Creativity of Kaisyn Kuliev”, as well as the philosophical aspects of the North Caucasus peoples’ poetry.
