SHORT BIOGRAPHY

T.B. Agayev was born on October 18, 1956 in the Beylagan tregion. In 1980 graduated with Diploma with honours from the Faculty of History, and in 2000 - the Faculty of Law of the Baku State University. In 1987-1991 he was a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Scientific Communism of the BSU,  in 1991 worked as a teacher, assistant professor at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology. In 1993-2003, held senior positions in the Special Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Since 2003, worked at the Department of Sociology as a senior lecturer, and since 2006 he has been working as an assistant professor. In 1987 defended thesis on the theme “Scientific and technical progress and changing the social structure of collective farmers”.

Conducts research on the topic "The main trends in the stratification of modern Azerbaijani society." The author of 1 textbook, 2 manuals, 9 programs, about 70 articles and theses.

Is married, has 2 childrens.

LABOR ACTIVITY

In 1987-1991 he was a senior laboratory assistant at the Department of Scientific Comminism of the Baku State University, since 1991 he has been a lecturer at the Department of Philosophy and Sociology, since 1993 a senior lecturer. Since 2006 he has been working as an associate professor.

In 1993-2003, he held senior positions in the Special Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
