Department of pedagogics also participates in public work and carrying out of charitable actions adjoining with scientific activities of educational.
The chief of department, prof. Nubar Mukhtarova supervised carrying out charitable actions in BSU In 1990-1994.
3 greater charitable concerts had been held in prof. Nubar Mukhtarova initiative in republic. Most unities, societies, ministries of the republic, Turkey, Iran and embassies of the Russia had been inviting to charitable concert.
"Pedaqoji aləm" popular-scientific magazine publishes with decision of the great scientific council of the Baku State University in Azerbaijani, Russian and English languages since 1999. There was already 16 number of magazine. The founder and the editor-in-chief of the magazine is professor Nubar Mukhtarova.
The magazine is addressed to a wide reader's audience - to various social groups, people of various age, culture, political parties and etc.
Education, economy, science, culture, nature and another problems lightened in the numbers of "Heydər Əliyev epoxası", "Yetgin siyasəti", "Vətəndaş-pedaqoq alim", "Vətəndaş-pedaqoq-həkim", "Ali məktəb rektorları", "Nazirlər", "Valideynlər və ovladlar", "Arzular", "Milli ləyaqətimiz", "Məktəblər", "Qızıl əllər", "Tələbə planeti", "Xatirələr", "Təbriklər" and etc. The magazine is read as well in Russia, Georgia, Turkey, Germany, China.
The employees of department continue methodic and scientific activities with confidence today.
