DEPARTMENT OF THE HISTORY OF PHILOSOPHY AND CULTURALOGY

The head of the chair is Doctor of Philosophy, professor Aslanova Rabiyat Nurullah. She has been working at BSU since 1978. At the Department of Philosophy History and Cultural Studies there are currently one professor , five docent,  three associate professors , one teacher and one laborant .

This department, which has gained great attention in the field of studying the West-East, especially Azerbaijan's philosophical thought, is practicing the philosophical history and culture studies in almost all faculties. The professor-teaching staff of the Philosophical History and Cultural Studies Department conducts scientific research in a number of directions in accordance with the problem of "Integration of philosophical, religious and cultural ideas of the peoples of East and West".
