EXPERIMENTAL PSYCHOLOGY

The laboratory of experimental researches «Experimental psychology» at faculty of Social sciences and psychology has been created on the basis of decrees of №23 (09.03.2000) Ministries of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic, №29 (03.04.2000) rectors BSU and decisions of scientific council BSU (26.03.1999). The head of laboratory is the member of correspondent NASA, prof. Aliev Bakhtiyar.
Main objective of creation of laboratory is the decision of some the serious questions facing to a psychological science; formation of interrelation of process educational with practical knowledge; studying of psychological mechanisms of national consciousness and national character in our republic and others.
Research works in laboratory are conducted in below-mentioned directions:

1. Studying of development of national consciousness and character;
2. Psychological questions of studying of the person;
3. Diagnostics and correction of mental development of children;
4. Actual problems of clinical psychology.

Problem of research work of laboratory: Actual psychological problems of development of the person (2000 - 2009).
Theme: Experimentally-psychological research of self-actualisation and self-realisation of the person (2000-2005).
Theme: the Person and culture (2006-2008).

The problem and theme of research laboratory in modern conditions is sufficient is actual. This urgency is connected with increase of the importance of the human factor, the factor of the person in modern conditions. Research of an inner world of the person, its structure, formation of abilities and the reasons showing them very important. This necessity finds the reflexion in mentioned below aspects:

1. All-round studying of socially-psychological problems of the person.
2. An inattention of the person to separate questions of representations and forms in etno-culture conditions, system character of the national-ethnic reasons influencing its formation
3. Studying of tendencies of national consciousness of the person, self-realisation and on the basis of it concentrating attention to new conceptual problems.

Available is available confirmed 4 summer and annual plans of works of laboratory of experimental researches. Activity of the head and each employee of laboratory is reflected in annual reports.
5 candidate works of laboratory are finished. For the first time the laboratory has experimentally studied, that creative qualities of the person cannot be identified, as earlier it was necessary, with creative qualities. As a result of research the hierarchical model of creative qualities has been created, ways and means of achievement of more optimum development of creative qualities, characteristic for each age stage are shown.
Results of scientific works spent to laboratories can help with expansion general psychological knowledge and scientific-theoretical positions of psychology of the person. It once again proves the high practical importance of scientific work of laboratory.
