SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Ulviya Rizvan Aghabeyova was born in 1965 in Baku. She graduated from the Oriental Studies faculty of the Azerbaijan State University in 1989. She was a postgraduate at the Institute of Philosophy and Law in the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences in 1989-1992. In 1996 she defended her PhD thesis on Philosophical Outlook of Yusif Garabaghi in 1996. Since 2001 she is a lecturer at the History of Philosophy and Cultural Science Chair of the Baku State University.

PROFESSIONAL CAREER

In 1992-1998 she worked as a scientific worker in the Institute of Philosophy and Law in the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, in 1998-2000 she worked at the American University in Baku. Since 2001 she has been working as a lecturer at the History of Philosophy and Cultural Science Chair of the Baku State University.
