The general direction of scientific activity of chair - Social philosophy (09.00.11), that is employees of chair conduct researches on a wide range of problems of social philosophy, since its subject and including the basic historical stages of its development. The basic attention is concentrated to working out «life Problems in philosophy». This or that theme of the given problematics is annually investigated. For example, «Universal communications of life» have been investigated in 2008. The basic purpose, there was a disclosing of interrelation and interconditionality of various forms of life, considering dialectics as a universal method to show life and non-existence communications, to analyze relations between them. In 2009 members of chair have defined as a research theme - «the Political life of a society». The Main objective to analyze various aspects of a political life of a society, to allocate its basic structural elements, and also to track formation and stages of development of political thought.
