The Anniversary Ceremony
19/12/2016The Ceremony was held due to create the faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology for 25 years at Baku State University. Academic Abel Maharramov who spoke for ceremony, then greeted to participants and professor and teachers, congregated the staff of faculty due to remarkable day, presented the role of faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology in university life. He noted that last 25 years important measures were held in framework of developed action of faculty, created new faculties, changed structure on the departments. As departments of faculty were main departments to fit due to profession played important role to prepare high educated teachers for other universities and colleges, also a few other institutions.
Moreover The Dean of faculty of Social Sciences and Psychology, professor Hikmat Alizadeh presented information about the history and today of faculty. It was clear that at the moment there were 8 departments, science research laboratory and other centres. The staff of faculty is consist on 106 members – one of them is correspondent of Azerbaijan Academy of National Sciences, 20 members have PhD, 56 of them are science candidates, associate professor, 12 members are head teacher, roughly there are 17 teachers.
The Dean informed about students, there were approximately 1400 students who study on bachelor and master degree and presented about to prepare high educated teachers and organize training. After farewell speaking congratulatory the deputies Hadi Rajabli, Samad Seyidov and professor Ajdar Aghayev, award ceremony was held to a group of faculty members.
The ceremony was finished with folk part.
