The Nobel Prize Laureate, professor Ahmed Hasan Zewail named honorary doctor of Baku State University
10/10/2011Ceremony of awarding the diploma of the Honorary Doctor of Baku State University to the Nobel Prize Laureate, professor Ahmed Hasan Zewail was held at Baku State University on October 10, 2011. Speaking to the ceremony, the BSU`s rector, academician Abel Maharramov spoke of the professor Ahmed Hasan Zewail`s life and activities. Maharramov then read out the decision of the BSU`s Supreme Scientific Council to name the famous scientist an honorary doctor. The Nobel Prize Laureate, professor Ahmed Hasan Zewail made a speech at the ceremony. He thanked the Council for honoring him with the honorary doctor diploma.
